An Evening of Fun, A Year of Giving

The South Shore Oktoberfest is an annual event that takes place every fall to support the worthy charities of the South Shore.  Hundreds of people gather together to enjoy authentic German cuisine and beverages, partake in raffles and games, and most of all have fun – all while raising thousands of dollars for charity.  We are now in our 5th year and want to make it the best year yet,  so please join us for an evening of good times that support great causes!

Bar Games

At 9:00PM, the downstairs opens and attendees can enjoy a variety of fun games and win prizes!  With a live DJ and Karaoke to keep the party going on into the night!

Since 2008, the South Shore Oktoberfest has raised over $60,000 for South Shore charities, providing 500,000 meals to families in need.  Each year, we have grown – with local fraternal groups joining the cause – because the call to help those in need has never been greater and many of our neighbors are struggling with poverty and going hungry.

Interfaith Social Services Food Pantry is one of the recipients of the event profits.  A non-profit, non-sectarian agency that provides support to Quincy, Milton, Holbrook, Randolph, Braintree, Weymouth, Hingham, Hull, Cohasset and Scituate,  their food pantry, which opened in 1975, distributes over $400,000 of groceries annually to more than 15,000 duplicated individuals – more than 40 households a day.

We could not do this event without the support of the community.  If you are or know of a business that might be willing to support the event, please contact us.  From raffle/auction prizes of goods or services, to monetary support, advertising, or materials, the South Shore Oktoberfest needs your help.

Table sponsorships and event sponsorships are available.  The South Shore Oktoberfest is a registered 501(c)3 charitable entity.  Contact us for details and our Tax ID number to make your contributions tax-deductable.

One Event,
Three Charities

South Shore Oktoberfest is dedicated to assisting charitable efforts that operate in the Greater South Shore area.  This event began with the Interfaith Social Services Bureau, which we will continue to support every year.  In addition, the Board selects 2 additional worthy charities to be benefit from our annual event.

Fraternity among Fraternal Organizations

The common goal of supporting the South Shore community brings five Fraternal organizations: the Massachusetts Freemasons, the Quincy Elks, the Braintree Moose, the Weymouth Rotary and the Eagles, together to operate the South Shore Oktoberfest Committee.
